Listening to Mike

This is where Mike is talking about the TelePrompTer and lights. I included this shot to prove I was still on the tour and because it was a good group shot. We spent quite some time in this studio, there was so much to talk about.

Mixing room
Mixing room

I believe that is what Mike called this.

The recordings are edited here, with sound, video and other elements such as the credits (the text that tells who worked on the program or video) mixed and matched. This room has a lot of new digital equipment.

The control panel with all the buttons in the middle of the picture in front of the chair can be adjusted to do many different things depending on what they are editing.

This is accomplished by changing the programming for the buttons, so they do something different for each project, making them very flexible by design.

We noticed there were labels made with masking tape that had been written on below some of the buttons. That way they could be taken off when programming for the button was changed for the next project.

This is the older studio, where they run their fundraisers, among other things. You can see the telephones and monitors the volunteers use during the fundraising activities.
