Game and Fish Commission set
Permanent set for the Game and Fish Commissions "Outdoor Arkansas"

It had a lot of outdoorsy props and decorations and is called "The Corner Cafe." I took several pictures here, but most turned out to be too dark, so I didn't include them.

Here Mike is pointing out how the image of a lake and docks behind the mocked up window is blurry, to look like an outdoor scene.

There was a discussion of how the camera has monocular vision, so it is easier to fool the eye with this technique. There is no depth reference, so your brain tends to assume that something in the background that is blurry is farther away.

Reading for the blind service.
Reading for the Blind

Here is where Randy Johnson works, reading newspapers and magazines for the blind people of Arkansas. There are several other people that do this besides Randy. You can find their website with more information at http://pages.prodigy.net/arkansas_blindnet also known as ARRSBN (Arkansas Radio Reading Service For The Blind Network) . It is a really great service they are providing!

Randy was the Mensan that arranged this tour for us. I, for one, am very grateful!
